Cover your marriage

Marriage is something that so many of us take for granted. I've been there myself.
In the early years of my marriage I took a lot of things for granted, and God was not in first place.

There had been many times the devil had tried to work his way into our home, there were many times that emotions ran high and separation felt like the only option out. We were both living under one roof but emotionally living different lives, we were focused on different things and we were becoming more divided in our values and desires.

God was still working through us in many ways but when I began going to a new church back in feb 2025 the devil tried again to destroy our marriage, but the more I leaned into God and began to pray over my marriage, pray for my husband, pray for our home things radically changed.
The more I prayed over my marriage the closer I got to my husband, the more patience I had, the more empathy and understanding I had for him, he hadn't changed but I had.
Then one day he asked to come to church with me, now he leads us as a family to church.

My ability to pray over my marriage brought a new wave of love and protection. The devil knows the power of a united family that put God first and the devil fears a strong marriage. When we are strong in faith together, we lead and protect our children, we hold each other accountable with love and respect. We come unified and on the same team, with clear goals. We become the change the devil fears.

Covering your marriage has so much power, yet so many feel like they just need the other person to change for the relationship to improve - but you can be the one who changes it.
