Grab every new opportunity

Life is going to move ahead regardless, so why not seize every opportunity life has to offer?
But, can we truly say we are open to everything life has to offer?

There have been days and nights I have reached out to God in prayer, asking for more opportunity, more ways I can show up and do something grand with my life, yet I never moved myself in a way that shown I was truly open and available for new opportunities.
It can be easy for us to desire more for our lives, to sit and complain about where we are at, its much easier to sit and complain rather than to take accountability and action over opportunity and growth.

Life can be scary and big outside of our comfort zones, we can have big dreams and goals, but ultimately we can never achieve them if we don't change our mindset and even our environment.
Sometimes it's easy to get so wrapped up in where we are at now, that we can't actually see things are crumbling around us and we need to lift our eyes upwards and breathe.

New can be scary, not just for us adults, but also for our children.
New is uncertain. New opportunities can come with risk.

New opportunities often don't come wrapped up in a pretty bow, they often don't come in the way we mapped out in our minds, but when we can trust in the Lord and know that he is possible of miracles, we can trust that our actions in moving forward can create the most incredible opportunities.
There will be days and nights when you can't see a way past your situation. Times when you don't know what to do next, but ultimately he will call us to our mission here on earth.

I would never be here writing this blog post if I had never experienced domestic abuse and left that relationship and joined the Army. As much as the pain of the relationship left me broken and scared, God showed me an opportunity to get out and into his destiny over my life, and he has continued to show up time and time again with new opportunities - it's on us to take what's on offer, even when we're scared, even when our hearts racing. To dive into the new!

God will meet you where you're at and open new doors for you, but you have to act!
Let go of what no longer serves a purpose in your life, and make space for the new.
